Pathology
Pathology is understood as the study of the structural and functional causes of human diseases. The four aspects of the diseases that make up the basis of pathology are its causes (etiology), the mechanisms of its development (pathogenesis), the structural changes induced in cells and tissues (morphological changes), and the functional consequences of the morphological changes (clinical significance).”
